Winthrop Center Introduces Premier Pet Concierge Services

Exclusive to Winthrop Center Residents and Office Workers, developer MP Boston has unveiled Club VIP (“Very Important Pets”), encompassing full-service, pet concierge services.

Led by Karen Ray, the VIP program for pets will shape the pet care and wellness landscape and raise expectations for luxury residential developments in Boston and beyond.

With 21 years of experience in the industry, Karen Ray launched her own pet care service in Boston’s North End, a venture that formed organically and blossomed after she started caring for friends’ pets in the area. Since then, she has provided full-service pet care for neighborhoods throughout Boston. Club VIP at Winthrop Center will take doggy daycare services to a new level, with a full staff on site available to residents and office workers at any time, and a suite of wellness and spa services ranging from pet massage and acupuncture to laser therapy.

To ensure that Winthrop Center pets stay active and well socialized while their owners are away, Ray and her team will provide daycare and playgroup, with complimentary pick-up and drop off. Exercise will include private city walks and individual ball play, with options for private and group training sessions. For off-site retreats with ample green space and fresh air, luxury VIP boarding will be available on a picturesque, Amherst, New Hampshire farm. Residents and office workers will be able to book dog daycare, VIP boarding, training, and grooming, and wellness services through online scheduling software integrated into Winthrop Center’s proprietary branded platform called ConnexIQ.

Residents and office workers can book Club VIP training sessions – including dog and puppy training, service dog training, aggression training, agility training, and training for AKC K Good Citizen Certification – with other wellness and grooming services for a full-day of pet care.

Wellness offerings at Club VIP include physical therapy and rehabilitation, deep tissue massage, stretch therapy as a preventative hip injury treatment, Reiki with aromatherapy, yoga classes, sensitivity therapy paw massage, and laser therapy designed to reduce the pain and inflammation of arthritis in dogs. Premier grooming services range from “Pawdicures” and deep conditioning treatments to “Vanity Furr” hair color.

The forthcoming mixed-use tower located in the heart of Boston and is slated for occupancy in early 2023.
