After a successful 35-year tenure, DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, will exit Singapore Changi Airport in June 2020.

DFS has held the Liquor and Tobacco concession at Singapore Changi Airport since 1980, with the wines and spirits stores being the first of their kind; showcasing DFS’ global travel retail leadership, innovation and unique ability to assemble an unparalleled assortment of rare and exclusive products, activations such as the Changi First Program and industry celebrated event Masters of Wines and Spirits. Stores within DFS, Singapore Changi Airport are an unmissable stop for millions of visitors and residents in Singapore as well as being a location synonymous with the global travel retail industry.

“As one of DFS’ most esteemed allies for the last 35 years, we thank Changi Airport Group for their ongoing support and partnership. We will continue to serve our customers with the same passion for excellence that has distinguished us at Changi Airport until our official exit in June 2020,” said Aymeric Lacroix, DFS Group Managing Director Asia South.

From April to June, DFS Group, Changi Airport will host a series of virtual promotions and exclusive products online on to thank all customers and to mark a chapter of wonderful memories.

Promotions and Additional Offerings through is Singapore’s first online luxury e-shop platform offering Duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST) absorbed priced premium wines, champagnes and the introduction of spirits, without having to travel.

DFS customers can select from over 200 newly-added products throughout the campaign. The Prestige Collection is also available on in early May. Customers can expect new products to be added every other week and enjoy up to 50% discount on selected premium brands.

All taxes and duties of products on the website will be absorbed by DFS and customers who spend a minimum of S$250* will also receive complimentary delivery.

Photo Memory Drive: DFS Group x Singapore Memory Project
DFS Group, Changi Airport has partnered with the Singapore Memory Project, a nation-wide movement that aims to capture and document unforgettable moments and memories related to Singapore, with the aim of connecting contributors with a shared memory.

From now to June 8, DFS Group, Changi Airport invites all visitors to submit a photo in the photo memory drive on landing page that captures your favourite memory of DFS wines and spirits.

Spreading Positivity through Entertainment x Live Stream Series, 35 Years: Chapter of Wonderful Memories
DFS Group, Changi Airport will collaborate with local celebrities and influencers previously involved in DFS, Singapore Changi Airport campaigns. The organisations and artistes include Mediacorp Artistes, Desmond Tan and Benjamin Tan, Mediacorp 987 DJ, Sonia Chew, FLY Entertainment Artiste, Irene Ang, FLY Entertainment Artiste and SONY Music Artist, Benjamin Kheng, Warner Music Artist, Nathan Hartono and Left Profile Artiste, Royce Lee who will join a series of live stream videos on their respective Instagram LIVE.

Starting from April 16 to May 7, every 3 Thursday at 10pm, viewers can expect a series of lifestyle content videos that brings positivity through a mix of music, comedy and culinary insights. Short form video recaps will be made available thereafter on landing page.

Exclusive promotions will run during the live stream videos, with an opportunity to earn 10 times Changi Reward points when purchasing products for the duration of the live stream. Further discounts and exclusive bottles will also be made available and released at random intervals for viewers to purchase. Customers who purchase during the live stream can also stand a chance to win weekly prizes worth S$400. During this period of uncertainty, DFS Group, Changi Airport brings Singaporeans together to support the local food establishments. DFS Group, Changi Airport has partnered with #HawkersUnited2020, a virtual community set up for businesses to advertise their stalls and products. Together, they will work with 20 food establishments to offer S$5 #savefnbsg vouchers for customers to redeem.

From May 1 to May 7, customers who spend S$250* on will receive a voucher. The redemption status and list of participating food outlets will be featured on landing page at a later date.
