Staycation Review: Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore offers Wellness Suite staycation experience to Relax and Rejuvenate your Mind and Body

With our everyday busy lifestyle, work might sometimes be overwhelming and stressful. First thing that comes to our mind first will always be a short getaway destination, but sometimes travelling isn’t that always easy. So i checked-in at Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore for a 2D/1N weekend staycation.
Located along Shenton Way, Dao by Dorsett AMTD is within walking distance to popular dining destinations such as Lau Pa Sat, Tanjong Pagar and for those on business trips, is also within the Central Business District of Singapore.
At level 7 where the grand lobby is located, you will be awed by the luxurious welcoming interior with its avant-garde chandeliers. Right next to it is the Collective, the property’s all-day dining destination where International and Local fares are being served. Located on the same level is the Bar where you can enjoy cocktails, wine and spirits along with light bites and outdoor pool. Before you head to your room, green thumbs can head to the plant library and adopt your choice of plants to take care during your stay.
Wellness Suite Staycation Package
With over 268 apartment rooms and suites which caters mostly to long-term staying guests, all the rooms are equipped with a fully-furnished residence experience. All units come complete with a kitchenette, living and dining space; and ensuite rain shower-bath.
For this Wellness Suite staycation, I stayed at the One Bedroom Premier Suite fully equipped with products from wellness and lifestyle brand OSIM.
I got excited when I saw the uDream Pro Well-Being Chair at the living room, the uThrone Gaming Chair and uSqueez 3 Smart Leg Massager in the bedroom. I immediately went to try each of the equipment.
The uSqueez 3 Smart Leg Massager is perfect for anyone who loves a quick 15min leg massage after a long day outside, The uThrone Gaming Chair is good for those gamers who enjoy a lovely back massage while the uThrone Gaming Chair is perfect for those who enjoy a relaxing full body massage features. My body immediately felt rejuvenated with just one use of each of the massage equipment’s. The room is also equipped with the OSIM uAlphine Smart 2 Air Purifier which ensures clean and fresh air circulates in your room during your stay.
The next morning, I went to the collective at Level 7 for a hearty buffet breakfast, there’s nothing unique or special with the breakfast selections but the decent amount of selections being offered is good enough to awaken your mind and body to get you ready for the day.
As if the OSIM equipment’s in my room is not enough, I requested more of other OSIM products via the Dao App, I tried the OSIM Eye Massager, OSIM Neck and Shoulder Massager before checking out.
Verdict
If you need a self-care and pampering, you will love this staycation package, a room with a marvellous view of the harbour, unlimited massage via the OSIM equipment’s during your stay, complimentary buffet breakfast at the Collective, a fully equipped kitchen should you decide to cook for your friends or loved ones. This wellness experience will give you a brief relaxation and break from the busy lifestyle and restore your mind and body with this staycation.
