Wynn Palace Announces Grand Opening of Palace Reserve Club
Wynn Palace has unveiled its new landmark for mingling and socializing, the Palace Reserve Club. Designed for elites and tastemakers, Palace Reserve Club offers a vibrant space and sophisticated ambiance complemented by inspiring mixology and exciting entertainment.
The Palace Reserve Club was unveiled with a glamourous ‘Extravaganza of Blossoms’ party on March 2, the celebratory after-party for Wynn’s inaugural event, Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards. The 1920s Shanghai-themed party saw guests dressed in opulent vintage Chinese costumes, engaging entertainment shows and a mesmerizing flair bartending show, transporting the esteemed award judges, celebrities, media and the distinguished guests back to Shanghai’s golden age of glamour and splendor.
Inspired by the carefree drinking dens of the 1920s, the Palace Reserve Club has a one-of-a-kind, dynamic, energetic atmosphere, hosting parties and events for guests to enjoy in a relaxed setting. A selection of the finest wines, spirits, teas and gourmet food are on offer, alongside signature cocktails with an Eastern flair created by Wynn’s Master Mixologist, Mariena Mercer Boarini. In addition to regular mixology collaborations with world-renowned mixologists, guests can bask in the live band music at the Club or take in the stunning views of the Performance Lake from the outdoor terrace. Ensuring every guest has a great time, ‘Open Mic Night’, one of Palace Reserve Club’s signature entertainment acts, allows talented guests to exercise their musical muscles on stage and perform with the live band at weekends.
Prior to the official launch, Palace Reserve Club hosted two well-received guest mixologist events in January and February, featuring World’s 50 Best Bars’ EI Copitas Bar and Asia’s 50 Best Bars’ The Curator Coffee & Cocktails. The Palace Reserve Club is set to continue hosting lively parties and themed events. Satoshi Sugiura, bar manager of El Lequio, a well-known bar in Okinawa, Japan, will be stationed at the Club on March 22 and 23 as the first guest mixologist after the official launch. El Lequio’s bespoke cocktail menu designed by Sugiura is known for its unique blend of Okinawan and Latin American’s Ryukyu cultures, paying homage to his Okinawan roots while honoring its cultural heritage from concept to ingredient selection. Sugiura, formerly bar manager at The Odd Couple in Shanghai (ranked 38th in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2020), has led El Lequio to be ranked in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 extended list, making it a must-go for cocktail lovers.
