If you missed Beerfest Asia last month, don’t fret as Brewlander is launching a Brewnanza Fest featuring even more craft beer! From 3-6 August, breweries from local and internationally will gather at Bayfront Event Space to celebrate our favourite drink, with over 100 unique craft beers from smoothie sours, IPAs, Farmhouse ales and more.
Other than the usual kids on the block, there are a few new breweries who will be showcasing their beers the festival – DD4D from Japan, UK craft brewery Cloudwater, and Trillium Brewing that hails from the US. Here are 6 limited edition beers that you will only be able to find at Brewnanza!
- Don Jalapeño by DD4D (Japan) – Taking the heat into their experimentation, DD4D takes a classic IPA and added the fresh bitterness of Jalapeno and citrus aromas for an interesting mouthfeel.
- Sourpocalypse by Brewlander x Vault City Brewing Co. (Scotland) – A collaboration between Brewlander and Scottish brewery Vault City, the smoothie sour inspired by a well-loved local dessert Mango Pomelo will be launching at the festival. The thick and creamy sour packs a fruity punch with the sweet mango and tangy grapefruit.
- Lock Cha Beer by Heroes (Hong Kong) – If Sourpocalypse is a dessert beer, Lock Cha Beer would be a wholehearted meal. With fragrant Pu’er tea and Floor Malted Maris Otter, the tea-based beer is balanced with rich malty flavours of toasted bread and toffee.
- Bunshine XPA by Cheeky Monkey x Abundance (Australia) – The Bunshine XPA is a refreshing and bittersweet tipple with juicy grapefruit, zesty blood orange, and pineapple that goes down easily in the humid Singapore. Heat.
- Coconuts by Lervig (Norway) – The Coconut Imp. Stout was made for stout lovers with a sweet tooth. The chocolate and malt perfectly complements the toasted coconut, vanilla and maple syrup for a delicious stout that doubles off as a dessert to end a night of drinking.
- 58 Shades of Red by Brewlander (Singapore) – With National Day just round the corner, Brewlander has created a red IPA in the spirit of celebration. Made with a series of America hops including Centennial, Ekuanot, Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe and HBC, the well-rounded beer is citrusy with a robust aroma, exactly like its tropical namesake.
