Chef-Owner Andrew Walsh opens newest concept 87 Club Street Pasta & Grill

Chef Andrew Walsh, the man behind Michelin starred Cure, Asian-inspired bar and grill Butcher Boy, Japanese Izakaya CATFISH has opened his newest concept 87 Club Street Pasta & Grill.
Helmed by Head Chef Vikern Chua and overseen by Andrew Walsh himself, this new concept is reinvented from the original Club Street, elevating the wine-centric venue with Walsh’s immensely popular pasta offerings as well as scrumptious treats from the grill, with great bottles and a larger range of wine by the glass options and non-fuss cocktails.
Here the menu features contemporary European delights from sharing plates such as Mussels, Nduja, and Fennel, Tuna Crudo and Tomato and Citrus along with fresh pastas that are prepared and made in-house daily.
Some notable pastas include classic Italian dish, Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, Tagliatelle Carbonara and vegetarian option Paccheri Alla Vodka. Main dishes include Grilled Sea Bass, Veal Ossobuco with Gremolata and more.
A selection of dry-aged beef with prime cuts meticulously aged in-house for 7 to 10 days and grilled over live wood fire is a must try here. Some favourites include the Rib-Eye, Shoulder Tenders and Striploin.
Each steak here boasts an exquisite charred exterior and is cooked to the guest’s desired leve and accompanied by crispy French fries seasoned with rosemary salt and a choice of condiments such as Peppercorn, Bearnaise, and Cafe De Paris Butter.
