Raffles Hotel Singapore Brings Back Its Sakura Afternoon Tea Experience
Raffles Hotel Singapore brings you the beauty of Japan’s beloved cherry blossom season through the Sakura Afternoon Tea with inspired seasonal delights from 7 March till 15 May 2022.
Step into spring beholding the wonderful sight of a beautiful Sakura tree artfully installed in the middle of The Grand Lobby. Continue to excite the senses as the seasonal Sakura Afternoon Tea invites guests to savour an exclusive selection of delectable savouries such as Beef Sando with Katsu Béchamel; Japanese Omelette with Ikura, a delightful combination of a classic Japanese folded omelette topped with plump salmon roe; and the Surimi Sandwich Mayo and Tobiko Egg.
Inspired by the enthralling beauty of cherry blossoms coming into full bloom, indulge in a lavish spread of classic Japanese desserts, home-baked scones and unique creations by Executive Pastry Chef Tai Chien Lin. Presented exquisitely on a three-tier silver stand, the Sakura Afternoon Tea features a delicate Sakura Strawberry Verrine, tantalising Red Bean Sakura Ice Cream Monaka and velvety Sakura Roll Cake, reminiscent of the colours and the allure of the celebrated seasonal festivity, paired perfectly with a choice of Mariage Frères tea or a Raffles custom-blended coffee.
The Sakura Afternoon Tea experience is priced at S$98++ per guest and is offered alongside the signature Classic Afternoon Tea. The charming thematic experience is part of The Grand Lobby’s afternoon tea offering, where guests are taken on an evocative journey to revel in the unique culinary flavours of selected distinctive cities around the world.
Reservations for the Sakura Afternoon Tea experience must be made a day in advance. Sakura Afternoon Tea will be unavailable from 11 t0 17 April, during which Easter Afternoon Tea will be offered.
