Take a trip around the World with Gin Odyssey

Taking place at The NCO Club from 12 June till 26 June 2022, Gin Odyssey takes you on a sensorial tour of Pernod Ricard’s acclaimed gin brands Beefeater London Dry Gin, Malfy Gin from Italy, KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin and Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin in a multi-sensory art experience that will titillate your senses.

The journey features four experiential rooms each presenting memory-embracing scents to soundscapes curated by local music producer Noisy Neighbours to interactive games and quizzes, each room conjures up a dream-like sequence as you journey through the odyssey.

Begin your trip by boarding at the London Underground station, adourned in quintessential red and blue tube, walk through the Beefeater themed room, as you sip on a perfectly crisp Beefeater cocktail whilst being taken through a brief history of the gin by a virtual host.

The trip continues as you cruise along the Mediterranean Pearl of Amalfi Coast in Italy. The Malfy-themed room transports you to your Italian summer holiday, perfectly encapsulated in a vibrant alfresco ambience as you sip on a delicious Malfy Gin Con Limone cocktail made for summertime drinking, savouring the intense zing of Italian sun-ripened lemons and Amalfi lemon peel.

From Italy, take a trip to the traditional tea hut of Kyoto in the KI NO BI room. Be welcomed by the aroma of green tea, ylang ylang, and neroni and learn the process behind Japan’s first dedicated gin distillery in a series of snapshots and videos. Don’t leave without making your own ‘Kyoto’ cocktail inspired by mochi and green tea as the resident bartender guide you through the DIY session in the style of a Japanese tea ceremony.

The trip ends in Germany’s Black Forest. Discover Monty and Max’s monkey heritage and journey in the Monkey 47-themed room, get the low-down of the Schwarzwald DNA that makes the brand truly eccentric with every experiment conducted and enjoy a unique cocktail served from an inn inspired by Zum Wilden Affen, where Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin, a harmoniously balanced drink chocked full of juniper, citrus, a hint of grapefruit, lavender and peppery spices was produced.

Bring home some souvenir such as the Monkey 47 Distiller’s Cut 2021 will be available for those who sign up as a member of LeCercle – an exclusive members-only programme by Pernod Ricard – at the event.
