The Whisky Festival returns to Changi Airport for its Fourth Edition!

Whisky Festival

The Whisky Festival launches its fourth edition with its first-ever pop-up bar at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Taking on a deconstructed whisky cask theme, this festival aims to showcase the whisky making process with showing the importance of cask maturation and its impact on color, aroma and taste profile. After the launch at Singapore Changi Airport, the festival will then take flight at seven DFS locations across the world.

DFS Singapore Changi Airport offers the largest selection of over 400 whiskies and a myriad of other liquors which can only be found here, making it a destination in itself.

Highlights of The Whisky Festival include the Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 (S$131.50), Compass Box No Name No.2(S$195), The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Lost Blend (S$228) and the pièce de résistance- The Glenmorangie Rare Cask 1399 (S$743).

From now until 30th June, travelers can look forward to sipping on a whisky served straight up at the first-ever pop-up bar while awaiting for their flight to depart at Changi Airport Terminal 3. The pop up features various design elements from deconstructed whisky casks while the bar’s interior exudes an unconventional and sumptuous atmosphere reminiscent of speakeasy bars of the Jazz Era.

“We are thrilled to partner with DFS Changi once again and bring the annual Whisky Festival to the next level with a pop-up bar for the first time ever. This 1920s-themed bar with its unique interior and collection of never-before-seen whiskies will offer travelers a multi-sensorial travel retail experience, in celebration of all things whisky,” said Ms. Teo Chew Hoon, Group Senior Vice President, Airside Concessions at Changi Airport Group.
