Wagyu X
The Japanese steakhouse known for their cross-bred wagyu and Angus beef steak expands their menu with a new preparation style, as well as additions to the starters and side dishes
The Binchotan Flame Grilled Wagyu is available in two cuts– the Sirloin and Tenderloin. Each steak is cooked upon order, and grilled to a nice char atop binchotan charcoal and Sakura smoked wood, giving the meat a fragrant and crispy taste. And then depending on your choice of cut, the Sirloin is juicy and melt-in-your-mouth, while the Tenderloin lets you taste the smoky meatiness of the steak. While the steak is amazing on its own, savour it with a light sprinkle of salt or garlic chips to bring out the full flavour of the meat.
Until the end of the month, every order of the Binchotan Flame Grilled Wagyu will come with a complimentary side of Wagyu Fat Fries, a perfect complement to the tasty cuts of steak.
Wagyu X is not just about steak, their other dishes are also a delight on the tastebuds. Cold dishes are a good balance to all the meat, and go for the ChilledTruffle Somen- a cold pasta tossed in a light mix of truffle kombu sauce, mirin, sake and served with either scallop or uni– or the Horenso Gomae, a spinach salad with house-made roasted sesame seasoning served chilled.
If you are one of those who needs carbs to feel like the meal is complete, the Wagyu Fried Rice is heaped aplenty with even more meat and fried in Wagyu fat, and served with a refreshing ooba leaf foam, or indulge in the Japanese Sweet Potato Croquettes, which is like a gooey, savoury mochi.
