Furla Launches its first Sneakers Collection.

There is no doubt that the modern shoe is the sneaker: everyday, practical, timelessly young, and constantly evolving in both style and technology, it represents one of the most fertile grounds in fashion for creative experimentation. Furla shares its DNA, and, in fact, the Italian brand has decided to widen its line of shoe products to include the world of sneakers.

The brand new Furla Sneaker collection will debut with the SS 19 collection, introduced directly in Furla stores beginning mid-February and coinciding with Women’s Fashion Week in Milan. A second launch will come in FW 2019, in stores from the end of July.

Furla Sneaker consists of three models: Kurt, Run and Hikaia, plus a variation (Run Candy). The construction design is clean, but at the same time already iconic because it belongs to the aesthetic world of Furla.

The key common element is the colour: modern tints – soft like pastels, bright like digital colours – pick up the palette of Furla’s bags. From powdery white Chalk to delicate beige Petal, from Camellia rose to the new skyblue Crystal, as well as acid green Ranuncolo, light Aquamarine, earthy Moonstone, black Onyx, and night blue Atlantic.

The Furla Kurt Sneaker is the leader of the collection, recalling a model from the ‘90’s. The collection also features the lines Furla Run Sneaker, strongly inspired by the 1970’s in the classic shape of a running shoe and with nylon as its main material and Furla Run Candy, the romantic version of Furla Run. Furla Hikaia Low Sneaker offers the most colour options of the collection.

Furla Kurt, Furla Run and Furla Run Candy is now available in Furla stores and in their digital boutique, www.furla.com. Furla Hikaia will debut a few months later, in July.
