Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021: Singapore Claims 12 Spots, Coa, Hong Kong Clinch Top Spot

This year’s announcement of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 was held virtually again which was streamed live on Facebook and Youtube.

Despite Jigger & Pony being knocked off the top spot this year, the bar still managed to secure the 2nd spot after Hong Kong’s mescal-centric bar Coa took the coveted top spot this year as well as the best bar in China.

Singapore bars managed to improve the list with 12 spots, up from 11 from last year with four bars Jigger & Pony, ATLAS, Manhattan & No Sleep Club placing in the top 10. No Sleep Club, secured the 8th spot as well as the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award.

MO Bar, located at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore, clinched the 45 spot as well as the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award, given to the bar with the top hospitality experience.

Former Antidote bartender and now co-founder of Mu in Taipei, Bannie Kang, has also been recognised as winner of the Mancino Bartenders’ Bartender Award for not only showing impeccable technique and creativity, but also for her passion for sharing knowledge and educating budding bartenders.
