Green Season is in full swing and Niseko Village continues to be a hive of activity. Niseko Village also just keeps getting better with a range of new attractions and activities, including the Rail Slider, a first-of-its-kind for Japan. Green Season will see the return of beloved events including the annual Niko-Niko Festival and the Niseko Summer Golf competition.

As the newest addition to the resort’s nature activity centre, PURE at Niseko Village, the Rail Slider fuses the fast free-flying sensation of a zip line combined with the twists and turns of a rollercoaster. The Rail Slider is the only one of its kind available in the country, providing an exhilarating and unparalleled experience unlike any other. The Rail Slider adds another fun activity to a host of other attractions available at PURE including tree trekking, horse riding, and a zip line tour.

Niko-Niko Festival

This summer also marks the fourth edition of the annual Niko-Niko Festival. Happening on the 25th August 2018, this festival provides guests the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious food and snacks from local vendors. Kids will also be entertained with a range of children’s activities including fun crafts and games. The festival culminates in live performances and show-stopping fireworks, topping off a memorable family day out indeed.

Niseko Summer Golf Competition

For the golfing enthusiast, the summertime also signals the return of the Niseko Summer Golf competition. Taking place at the Niseko Golf Course on 26th August 2018, competitors stand a chance to win a 2019 season golf pass and many other attractive prizes. Designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, the Niseko Golf Course promises to challenge even the most seasoned golfer. Golfers can also take in the breathtaking scenery of Niseko which recently made it into Golfscape’s top 5 in 30 of the World’s Most Beautiful Golf Courses.
