JUMBO Seafood Launches Chilli Crab Signatures Dim Sum Bento Boxes and Bundles

Famous for its Award-Winning Chilli Crab, JUMBO Seafood captured the gastronomic hearts of many with its creation of Chilli Crab Dim Sum selections – launched last year and served as part of an extensive dim sum menu exclusively at its ION Orchard outlet.

You can now conveniently enjoy these delectable handmade dim sum as Dim Sum Bento Box and Dim Sum Bundle sets. Dim Sum Bento Boxes are perfect for individuals to enjoy, while Dim Sum Bundles are specially created for groups of four to share.

Those looking for a delicious and quick option in individual portions can choose from 4 Dim Sum Bento Boxes priced at S$14.90 or S$15.90 nett. Families and groups coming together for a meal can opt for either of the 2 Dim Sum Bundles, priced at $42.90 nett for 4 pax.

On the menu is JUMBO Seafood’s Award-Winning Chilli Crab presented as fuss-free creations – where sweet and spicy chilli crab meat and gravy provide moreish filling for the Baked JUMBO Chilli Crab Puffs and Pan Fried JUMBO Chilli Crab Buns. The former features flaky buttery puff pastry that crumbles and melts in your mouth, while the latter presents a chewy steamed bun that is pan-fried after to achieve golden crisp edges for added crunch and flavour.

Other selections included in the dim sum bento boxes and bundles include the meaty JUMBO ‘Siew Mai’ (Prawn and Pork Dumplings), succulent JUMBO ‘Har Gao’ (Prawn Dumplings), savoury-sweet Chef’s Special Crispy BBQ Pork Buns, crunchy Deep Fried Prawn Dumplings, Crispy Fried Beancurd Skin Stuffed with Prawns and Yellow Chives, Cantonese Sponge Cake, and the oozing Steamed Salted Egg Custard Buns.

A new dessert will also be launched and included in the dim sum bento boxes and bundles – Teochew-Style Yam and Salted Egg Yolk Mochi featuring a chewy rice mochi exterior coated with fragrant and crunchy sesame seeds. Bite into it to reveal the smooth yam paste and savoury salted egg yolk lava.

The dim sum dishes are also available a la carte for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery. The signature Baked JUMBO Chilli Crab Puffs and Pan Fried JUMBO Chilli Crab Buns are priced at S$8.80 for 3 pieces. Teochew-Style Yam and Salted Egg Yolk Mochi is also available at S$5.80 for 3 pieces.

Dim Sum is served exclusively at JUMBO Seafood ION Orchard for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm on weekdays, and from 11.30am to 5.30pm on weekends and public holidays.

Dim Sum Bento Boxes are available only for takeaway and delivery, while Dim Sum Bundles as well as a la carte dim sum are available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. Delivery is available from the ION Orchard outlet online (islandwide delivery), Deliveroo and Grabfood.
