Universal Studios Singapore set to host Asia-Pacific premiere for Wicked: For Good
From the Yellow Brick Road, Singapore is set to host the Asia-Pacific premiere for most anticipated film of the year, Wicked: For Good.
The Singapore premiere on 13 November 2025 will be the fourth stop on the film’s five-city global premiere tour. To be held at Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa, the star-studded cast led by celebrated director Jon M. Chu. Other confirmed attending Hollywood celebrities include Oscar nominees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, pop culure icon Jeff Goldblum and more.
The evening will feature a handprint ceremony and culminate in the screening at Pantages Hollywood Theatre. An exclusive fan event will also take place at WEAVE, RWS’s lifestyle and community space, as a prelude to the premiere.
Based on one of the most beloved and enduring stage musicals in Broadway history, Wicked: For Good is the final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonised as The Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda (Ariana Grande), who has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness in Emerald City.
This epic conclusion to last year’s most successful Broadway film adaptation, earning more than $750 million worldwide and winning 10 Academy Award nominations, including Best picture promises audiences will be kept focused throughout the film.
