Pour Over Coffee

The popular coffee chain synonymous with its minimalist aesthetics and single-origin coffee is making coffee accessible through two exciting workshops – the Blue Bottle Coffee Seminar and the Pour Over Workshop. Blue Bottle fans will be invited to get up close and personal with the coffee brand’s baristas, who will show how they simplified the process of coffee making so everyone can enjoy their favourite cup of coffee.

The Coffee Seminar is a 30 minute quite intro class into drip coffee and coffee pouring, from the grinding of beans all the way to pouring the coffee. The seminar also introduces the dripper, which is designer to get an even pour so that the taste of the coffee comes out just right. The session is also pretty interactive, with opportunities to ask the baristas questions and about how Blue Bottle Coffee comes to life from bean to cup.

If you’re looking for something more hands on, the Pour Over Workshop allows you to experiment with Blue Bottle’s very own dripper which you can then take home to kickstart your coffee pouring journey. The workshop also includes a 200g bag of coffee beans selected by the Blue Bottle coffee professionals, which might also be from their festive range that just launched this week.

The classes are led by a team of Blue Bottle master brewers, and the lineup includes Michael Phillips, Director of Coffee Culture and champion of the 2010 World Barista Competition; Benjamin Brewer, Senior Director of Global Coffee Experience; or Justin So, Trainer at Blue Bottle Coffee in Hong Kong. The trio will take turns leading the various workshops, which will only be held from 11 to 19 November 2024.

The Coffee Seminar and Pour Over Workshop is happening from 11-19 November 2024 at LUMINE Singapore, with limited slots available online.
