Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Rooster Gold and Silver Coins

Degussa Goldhandel GmbH, one of the world’s largest bullion dealers, is marking the 2017 Lunar New Year with the unveiling of the Rooster Gold and Silver coins.

The 1 ounce coins from The Perth Mint are available in 99.99% pure gold and pure silver in proof quality and the perfect gift this Lunar New Year.

For the gold coin, the reverse of each coin depicts a rooster standing in a stylised Chinese scene featuring bamboo and leaves. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Rooster’ also appear in the design.

The 2017 gold releases are available at Degussa as individual 1 ounce, ¼ ounce and 1/10 ounce coins.

For the silver coin, the reverse of each coin depicts a rooster, a hen, and three chicks standing amongst bamboo foliage and flowers. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Rooster’ also appear in the design. The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian RankBroadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2017 year-date, and the monetary denomination.

The silver releases, they are available at Degussa as individual 1 kilo, 1 ounce and ½ ounce coins.
