Start off your day with afternoon brunch at PS.Cafe

For the whole month of March, PS.Cafe presents an exclusive IWD menu that shines a spotlight on four outstanding women of the PS.Gourmet group. The specially conceptualised menu consists a starter, main, dessert and cocktail each telling unique individual stories by the women behind them. For starters, Chef Shermaine from PS.Cafe Raffles City presents the Crunchy Corn Dog ($18), but with a Korean-ified twist. Cue gochujang mayo, tangy kimchi topping, a creamy cheese pull all in one crispy corn dog shell — this is Chef Shermaine’s representation of seeking joy in the small pleasures in life. Chef Clarissa from PS.Cafe Harding pays homage to her grandma’s iconic Hong Zao chicken with the Argentinian Chargrilled Ribeye and ‘Hong Zao’ dish ($45) — using fermented red rice jus. For dessert, indulge in Chef Evangeline’s Chocolate and Berries Cream Tart ($18) — a decadent yet tangy dessert reminiscent of the unexpected yet beautiful moments in life. Toast to the IWD spirit with the Jasmine Zen ($20) cocktail by Michelle from Jypsy One Fullerton, featuring a harmonious blend of soothing jasmine tea with a zesty trio of lime, lemon and ume and kicked up a notch with vodka and cointreau.

The PS.Cafe IWD menu is available for a limited period until 31 March 2025.

Discover the new Chloe Fragrances’ Cedrus Intense

After brunch, discover your next new signature scent with Chloe Fragrances’ newest launch. The iconic Atelier des Fleurs collection sees a new addition: the Cedrus Intense is a new variatiation of the original Cedrus scent. It opens with sparkling top notes of bergamot and cardamon, then dries down to unveil the middle notes of rose that turns leathery with the addition of cypriol. The base unfolds to notes of smoky Chinese cedar, Indian sand vetiver and creamy Australian sandalwood.

The new Cedrus Intense collection is available at Chloe Fragrances Tangs at Tang Plaza, Takashimaya and selected Sephora stores.

Maggie

Dinner at Maggie’s, the latest highly anticipated opening

The Pleasurecraft Group ( Marcy’s, Parliament) sees a new addition to the lineup — Meet Maggie’s, Marcy’s long-lost sister restaurant serving up rebellious, not-quite Chinese dishes. Vibrant flavours take your tastebuds on a journey from the East to the South of China, imagined through dishes influenced by the regions of Xi’An, Dongbei and Hunan.

Perhaps the least ‘Chinese’ dish on the menu is the Cacio e Pepe, a signature featuring springy noodles, Sichuan peppercorn and fufu (fermented bean curd). Steak tartare gets a bold Chinese twist — here, it’s lamb tartare instead, topped with century egg, Hunan chilli and crispy fried sunchoke. Sticky date pudding at Maggie’s turns experimental with a dash of soy sauce and pork fat for that umami — this, you simply can’t not try.

At the helm of Maggie’s kitchen is Chef Ryan Choo, who is also already the lead of Marcy’s kitchen. The opening menu will start with 12 to 14 select dishes, and with time, ultimately expand to 18 dishes. Daily specials are also available, featuring raw seafood dishes and larger meat offerings such as Duck Roulade, Drunken Quail and more.
