La Prairie Launches First Flagship Boutique at Ion Orchard

Swiss luxury skincare brand La Prairie announces the launch of its flagship boutique in Singapore. This is La Prairie’s first and only standalone luxury boutique located in the heart of the city’s main shopping belt at ION Orchard. The store will open its doors to the public on 20 August 2021.

Inspired by the authentic, sophisticated elegance of Swiss Contemporary Architecture, the design is a physical representation of La Prairie’s quest for timeless beauty. The 61sqm boutique, which is located at ION’s basement 1, is designed to provide a one-stop haven of pristine elegance. It houses 2 facial cabins to create a fluid, seamless customer journey and offers the full range of La Prairie products from skin and body care, to complexion products. There’s also an interactive product experience table as well as a private consultation area.

The meticulous design of the boutique makes use of tranquil colours such as grey, white and silver. The store covers an impressive wide frontage with a bespoke glass showcase presenting the brand’s latest product innovations. One enters the boutique through La Prairie’s clean and minimalist double doors which articulate the brand’s signature Swiss DNA through subtle, elegant stone details. A light cove ceiling detail offers a warm, diffused environment reminiscent of luxury apartments in a Swiss nature infused setting.

With a nod to the luxury skincare brand’s Swiss heritage, the design incorporates the clean, pure aesthetic of Swiss Contemporary Architecture, creating beautiful environments in which to pause, peruse and feel pampered.

These elements are presented through the use of precious, natural materials and details which reflect the brand’s Swissness. Fine crystal, sleek steel and delicate paper have been used to craft sculptures placed throughout the stores and offer a clear vision of an uncompromised unity with the natural world.

The design of the space takes visual cues from the pure, minimal lines of contemporary Swiss architects such as Peter Zumthor. As an interpretation of La Prairie’s precious ingredients, some of the stores’ sculptures are intended to represent the multi-faceted beauty of platinum or the audaciousness of caviar.

Exclusive offering (only available at ION boutique) – White Caviar Illuminating & Firming Facial (S$560) is a treat of elegance and efficacy combined. This facial promotes an even skin tone by helping to prevent discoloration and illuminating the skin. With the added benefit of the Golden Caviar extracts, the skin is firmer and more hydrated, providing a more illuminated, smoother skin that enhances the complexion.

Skin Caviar Lifting & Firming Facial (S$520) is a combination of elegance and efficacy. Harnessing the power of La Prairie’s Skin Caviar collection, this facial provides the skin with hydration and essential nutrients, leaving the face firmed, toned, and silky soft.

Platinum Rare Haute Rejuvenation Facial (S$890) is a luxurious treatment using La Prairie’s high performance Platinum Collection. This ultra-luxe treatment begins with a relaxing back massage and features an exclusive facial for instant revitalization.

Pure Gold Radiance Facial (S$600) is La Prairie’s gold standard for anti-aging. Reignite the beauty of the golden hour – for skin that is revitalised and replenished.
