Visit Malaysia’s newest getaway destination, Desaru Coast via a quick 90 minute ferry ride!

Malaysia’s newest integrated destination at Desaru Coast has worked together with Batam Fast Ferry to officially commence passenger ferry services that connect Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal- cutting down a long 3 to 4 hour car ride to just 90 minutes by ferry!

The highly anticipated inaugural ferry service set sail from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 8.30 am and was warmly welcomed by the Desaru Coast and Batam Fast team at Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal. The journey only took approximately 90 minutes.

For the first few initial months, Batam Fast will only operate one daily round trip service from Thursday to Sunday in the morning and evening. However, since the sale of tickets began on 30 June 2022, Batam Fast has seen a healthy take-up for the new service and even extended their service operations to meet the demand of the Hari Raya Haji long weekend for both Singapore and Malaysia! Batam Fast will continue to scale ferry services accordingly as demand increases.
