A Grand Celebration of Cheese at Grand Hyatt Singapore

Few pleasures in life compare to the first taste of perfectly aged cheese, rich, complex, and alive with character. Grand Hyatt Singapore is presenting two grand Living Room Sessions that invites gourmands to indulge in a cheese experience like no other.
Led by the King of Cheese, Patrice Marchand, is a sixth-generation cheese affineur and co-founder of Les Frères Marchand, brings with him the soul of French fromagerie tradition. Established in 1880 in Nancy, Eastern France, the family-run maison has earned reverence across Europe for its commitment to preserving France’s centuries-old cheese-making heritage. Today, their cellars nurture over 300 varieties of artisanal cheeses sourced from more than 200 small producers, each wheel carrying a story of terroir and time.
The first Living Room Session also includes a guided wine and cheese dialogue on 31 October, from 6:45PM to 7:30PM. Hosted by Patrice Marchand and acclaimed food writer Annette Tan (@fat_fuku), this intimate session will unravel the delicate interplay of flavour, texture, and terroir that defines the art of pairing. Elegant, immersive, and irresistibly flavourful, this debut session invites guests to celebrate the mastery of tradition and the simple joy of gathering one bite, and one conversation at a time.
Guests can savour an extraordinary spread of 126 hand-selected cheeses, personally curated by Marchand, available at S$65++ per person. To complete the evening, bespoke wine pairings will be offered, while select cheeses can be purchased by weight for those wishing to extend the indulgence at home.
