The Glendronach 30-Year-Old (S$1,900, ABV 46.8%) is a masterpiece, expertly blended by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, who marries whisky matured in three distinct sherry cask styles—Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, and for the first time, Amontillado. This unique combination creates a whisky of exceptional richness and layered complexity. The addition of Amontillado casks introduces sophisticated notes of toasted hazelnut and mellow crème caramel that flawlessly complement the dark cherry, chocolate, and spiced fruit character from the other casks.
