Local restaurant concept PS.Cafe ventures to Shanghai

PS.Cafe has gone where very few local F&B concepts have: going overseas and opening the doors to its first outlet outside of Singapore. Marking the eleventh outlet for the internationally-acclaimed Singaporean favourite, the new space is located within the brand new Xintiandi Plaza in Shanghai.

Spanning 3,200 sq ft and able to accommodate over 100 guests, PS.Cafe Shanghai is located on the Garden Podium floor of the mall with sweeping views of Shanghai’s treelined Huaihai Middle Road. With direct access to the expansive outdoor garden terrace, PS.Cafe Shanghai will offer guests a respite from urban life with an elevated garden in the heart of the city. Staying true to PS.Cafe’s DNA, the Shanghai space will offer a carefully crafted menu, stylised interiors with bold statements of floral displays and bespoke furniture.

The thoughtfully curated menu celebrates the signature PS.Cafe dishes while paying homage to Singapore’s vibrant hawker culture. Brand-new, exclusive dishes for PS.Cafe Shanghai include hearty pastas such as Lobster & Shrimp Mac and Cheese served with a simple crisp green salad, or Chicken Cacio E Pepe– a wholesome bowl of grilled chicken, fontina, parmigiano and black pepper.

A reinvented take on Asia’s street dishes include Singapore Chicken Rice with Hainanese roasted chicken, ginger scallion sauce, pickled cucumber and clear chicken soup as well as Singapore Chilli Crab and Prawn– consisting of soft shell crab and tiger prawns, wok-crisped mantou, fresh chilli crab dip and jade rice. Sweet treats are also at the forefront of the agenda with the outlet-exclusive PS. Ginger Sticky Date Pudding with generous helpings of toffee sauce; a combination of the fan-favourite PS. Sticky Date Pudding and PS. Ginger Pudding.

Going beyond food choices, PS.Cafe Shanghai will offer a carefully-curated beverage menu that features craft beers, lager beers, aperitifs, wines and an array of bespoke PS. Classic Cocktails PS.Cafe Shanghai will also play host to some exclusive Signature Cocktails including the Millionaire Mojito; white rum, fresh mint and lime topped with prosecco, and the Hot Lychee Martini; vodka, lychee and chilli.
