Pink Fish Launches First Ever Mentaiko Shrimp Burger For Christmas

Healthy fast food chain Pink Fish is launching a Nordic Shrimp Mentaiko Burger as the highlight of their Christmas specials.
Compared to the other shrimp burgers from fast food joints, the shrimp burger here is a refreshing change from the fried shrimp patties. The lightly toasted brioche buns were filled with small Nordic shrimps and roe, drenched in a mentaiko sauce. Interestingly, the burger was a surprise on the tastebuds – and in a good way, with burst of umami from the fish roe and sweet bursts of flavor from the shrimp.
The full set also comes with a drink and a small bowl of creamy Nordic stew. The Nordic stew is a herbal soup with crunchy chunks of celery, carrots, onions, and more chunks of salmon – although we would say it’s more of an acquired taste.
On another note, the Cod Nuggets now come in a regular size portion for adults, with a side of chips or salted egg fish skin and tangy tartare sauce. Perfect as a meal for one or to share as an appetizer to start off your meal, the Cod Nuggets are crunchy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside.
