Say Cheers to Ultra High-end Whiskies and Wines at the 6th Edition of Wine & Whisky Week 2018
This year’s edition features a Limited Edition Release from Auchentoshan – A 30 Year Old Single Cask Whisky made exclusively for Singapore

The biannual 1855 The Bottle Shop’s Wine & Whisky Week (WWW) is set to return from the 31 October to 11 November at Suntec City East Atrium Level 1. This year’s edition will feature a unique collaboration with Auchentoshan – a renowned scotch whisky powerhouse. Specially handpicked to suit the Singaporean palate, the Auchentoshan 30 Years Old Single Cask Project is a Singapore exclusive limited edition Sherry cask whisky, making its debut at WWW.
There are only 383 bottles in the world, and can only be found exclusively at WWW. For an added touch of uniqueness, the whisky boxes themselves are embellished with a special handwritten calligraphy note. This particular bottle of whisky would be of great interest to whisky aficionados or whisky investors who are looking for a sublime bottle of elixir to purchase as an investment or as a gift for their friends!
For the first time ever, 1855 The Bottle Shop will be showcasing iconic 100 pointer rated wines, allowing guests to taste these ultra-premium wines under one roof. Guests will be able to drop by the Coravin Tasting Bar to savour these 100-pointer wines starting from S$8 per glass. A tasting flight of all five vintages will also be available at a special price of S$65. Labels available include top Chilean wines Almaviva and Clos Alpalta by Casa Lapostolle; two of the most historic wineries in Bordeaux, France Chateau Pontet-Canet and Chateau Pape Clement; the iconic crown jewel of Rhone, France Hermitage La Chapelle by Paul Jaboulet Aine.
All wines at the Coravin Tasting Bar will be served using the world-renowned wine preservation system, Coravin’s Model Two Elite. Retailing at WWW for S$615 in four different colours, the Model Two Elite is the most intuitive wine system that gives one the freedom to pour and enjoy a glass of wine from any bottle, at any time, without ever pulling the cork.
Apart from wine and whiskies, visitors will be able to experience Japanese tradition and modernity, featuring refreshing Mio Sparkling Sake and premium Shirakabegura Junmai Daiginjo from an award-winning brewery in the Nada region, Sho Chiku Bai Shirakabegura. Spirits such as single malt, grain and blended whiskies, sakes from boutique breweries and gin, will be available for tasting as well.
Beside the vast amount of spirits and liquor being made available for purchase, WWW will also be hosting its own wine masterclasses series. This series will focus on creating more intimate and in-depth experiences, featuring four masterclasses where industry experts will share their knowledge and attempt to deepen their guest’s knowledge of wine. Additionally, guests who spend a minimum of $200 will be able to take part in exciting lucky draws and giveaways that would let them walk away with amazing prices such as a year’s supply of wines & whiskies (worth S$3,000) or a wine chiller that will be fully stocked with 15 bottles of wine!
