As the month of October comes to an end, one of Singapore’s most iconic Indian festivals Deepavali is celebrated. One of the major festivals of Southeast Asia, the festival is celebrated by most Indian families in Singapore and often involves colored powdered Rangoli floor decorations and lights being placed outside houses and symbolizes a day of joyous celebration for Indians from all walks of life.
Celebrating the vibrant festival in true Deepavali or Diwali spirit, Singapore’s premier and award-winning Indian restaurant, Punjab Grill at Marina Bay Sands presents its highly anticipated Deepavali 2016 Sweet Box range. Created by Head Chef Javed and his team, the colourful Mithai boxes of elegant sweets contain the 18-piece “Jannat “for $68 and the 28-piece “Royal Mithai box “for $90.
