Gentle Monster unveils ‘Jentle Home’ collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Jennie
Seoul-based eyewear brand Gentle Monster reveals an exciting collaboration with K-pop rapper and singer Jennie for its latest collection “JENTLE HOME” with a new line of eyewear and accessories.
Following a slew of successful collaborations, the much-anticipated launch of ‘Jentle Home’ has become the talk of the town since the release of the campaign images through Jennie’s and Gentle Monster’s social media accounts.
The campaign images were shot by renowned fashion photographer Hugo Comte, featuring Jennie of BLACKPINK in her very own eyewear and accessories looking elegant and sleek, cementing herself as one of the fashion icons of K-pop as she shows off her daring, yet graceful styling. The series represents surreal iterations of Jennie’s childhood hopes and dreams.
Inspired by Jennie’s childhood memories, Jentle Home is a sentimental experience that brings our own fantasies to life, while reminding us of our own innocent dreams and hopes that we often forget and lose.
The Jentle Home collection offers a series of diverse frames, readily available to be styled in various ways with the oversized sunglasses KUKU, slim fit 1996, retro metal DAISY, and optical frame IN THE MOOD, along with a special accessory collection accentuated by the signature JENTLE logo.
1996 (S$368) is a modern cat-eye frame with a retro twist. It includes 100% UV protection black lenses, highlighted by temples decorated with a signature gold and silver metal ring.
DAISY (S$368) is a unique eyewear that features a rectangular frame with 100% UV protection gradient lenses held together with rivets. The frame is accompanied by temples accented with signature circular tips.
Seek the daily sun with KUKU (S$368), an acetate squared-shape frame. The curvatures of the design are balanced by the prominent square silhouette to create a bold statement. The black lenses with 100% UV protection are joined by temples accentuated with a signature gold metal ring.
IN THE MOOD (S$354) features a round metal frame. The triple grooved metal lining of the frame front accentuates this classic design, accompanied by temples accented with signature circular tips.
The collaboration also features a special accessory collection of eyewear accessories accentuated with a signature JENTLE logo.
ONYX BK (S$198) features an over-sized acrylic chain. The matte black chain is accentuated with a signature ‘JENTLE’ logo, complemented with silver tips.
MOONLIGHT SV (S$184) features an eyewear chain that combines a mixture of two different chains giving it maximum versatility. Composed of a silver necklace and eyewear chain, this design is accentuated with a signature ‘JENTLE’ logo.
Similarly, SUNLIGHT GV (S$184) is for the ones with a warmer skin tone, featuring a gold necklace and eyewear chain, this design is accentuated with a signature ‘JENTLE’ logo.
