Chinese New Year this year is fast approaching on the heels of the festive season as the Year Of The Snake starts on 29 January 2025. Wrap up the season of feasting with delectable Lunar New Year menus filled with auspicious Yu Sheng, meats like crispy pork belly, and all the exquisite seafood. Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

Look forward to two specially curated Hennessy tasting menus at Cherry Garden, where each dish pairs well with the deliciously complex flavours of Hennessy. Indulge in a Michelin-starred meal at the one star Summer Pavilion as Chef Cheung Siu Kong presents a Lunar New Year feast of Cantonese delicacies and new dishes. Look out for the Pen Cai, a pot filled with superior seafood and meat like sea perch, scallops, fish maw, and abalone that signifies prosperity and abundance, the Yu Sheng with sea cucumber, and the steamed vermicelli filled with king scallop, caviar and crab roe. The lunch and dinner menus come as six or eight courses, and those dining on the first 15 days of the Lunar New Year will receive a set of ang baos and oranges. And they also cater to those who observe Buddhism with vegetarian Yu Sheng and Pen Cai options.

This Lunar New Year, Man Fu Yuan at the InterContinental Singapore celebrates the Year of the Snake until February 16. Guests can indulge in a luxurious selection of festive dishes, including the grand 60-inch Blazing Snake Fortune Yu Sheng, symbolising prosperity and good fortune. This visually-stunning dish features grilled eel and a medley of other premium ingredients, making it a centrepiece of any celebratory meal but has to be ordered two days in advance.

Alongside this, diners can choose from various Yu Sheng options and a range of traditional and contemporary dishes that embody the spirit of the season. The restaurant will also offer specially curated prix-fixe menus highlighting auspicious flavours and high-quality ingredients. The Blissfulness Prix-Fixe Menu includes signature dishes like the Man Fu Yuan Abundance Treasure Pot, while the extravagant Harvest Prix-Fixe Menu features luxurious items such as Double-boiled Sakura Chicken Soup and Braised Rock Lobster with Golden Crispy Rice. From now to February 9, 2025, guests can enjoy a modern take on a Chinese New Year Sunday brunch gathering at Opus Bar and Grill at Voco Orchard Singapore.
