Maison Ruinart Launches First NFT with Exclusive Limited Edition by Jeppe Hein Offering

Maison Ruinart is set to release its first ever asset backed NFT via BlockBar.com, the world’s leading NFT marketplace for luxury wine and spirits.

An ode to both the house and their artistic ethos, this incredible moment grants one owner #8 of 25 of the Ruinart Limited Edition by Jeppe Hein including a Jeroboam of Ruinart Rosé by Jeppe Hein engraved with ‘1st NFT from Ruinart’, a coffret and a “Bubble” art piece. An invitation for two to enjoy an exceptional immersive experience at Maison Ruinart in Reims, France, is also included in this exclusive offering on BlockBar.com.

The wooden case is whitened with chalk taken directly from the walls of Ruinart’s chalk pits in Reims. Instead of the usual Ruinart label a rosé-coloured mirror label appears on the front of the Jeroboam recalling the bubbles from the Maison Ruinart’s 2022 art installation. Once the Jeroboam has been removed, the box serves as the base for a rose-coloured mirror sculpture evoking both the colour and sparkling bubbles of the champagne.

In addition to the unique Ruinart Limited Edition by Jeppe Hein, the NFT includes the opportunity to be invited as guests to Maison Ruinart. The exclusive offering on BlockBar.com includes an immersion in the Ruinart cellars, including the Unesco World Heritage chalk pits (known as Crayères), to discover the multi-secular heritage of the Maison Ruinart followed by a 4-course meal prepared by Ruinart’s Resident Chef. Paired with the emblematic cuvées of the House the menu consists of local and seasonal products meticulously selected in collaboration with partner artisans. 

The Ruinart NFT will be showcased at the Ruinart lounge at Art Basel Miami Beach, along with the physical version of the Ruinart Rosé by Jeppe Hein. Upon purchase of this limited-edition Jeroboam the physical version will be held securely by Maison Ruinart in Reims, with a record of authenticity held on the blockchain as a digital certificate of ownership. The Jeroboam owner may redeem the physical product in Reims, safely trade its NFT version within the BlockBar.com marketplace, gift it or showcase the NFT in their virtual bar.

Ruinart Limited Edition by Jeppe Hein (numbered 8/25) and engraved with ‘1st NFT from Ruinart’ will be available to purchase exclusively on BlockBar.com.

The drop goes live on 5th December at 10AM EST. Priced at US$4,000 the NFT is available to purchase with ETH or credit card. At 10AM, the first users to reserve the Jeroboam will then have 10 minutes to checkout. An immersive experience for two guests at Maison Ruinart in Reims, France, is also included with the physical Jeroboam offering.
