Tim Ho Wan Introduces Seven Seasonal Dishes Including New Offerings for Lunar New Year

Tim Ho Wan has launched seven dishes in conjunction with the upcoming Lunar New Year.

For the very first time, the restaurant is introducing the Crispy Prawn Paste Wings, bite into a crunch of delicious soft and juicy wings which is marinated with lemongrass and ginger powder, a dish kids and adults will surely love. The Abalone Pork & Shrimp Dumplings is another new dish for this year, an upgraded version of their popular signature shrimp dumplings with an added abalone.

Returning dishes this year include favourites such as the Maine Lobster & Scallop Fried Radish Cake, sweet and succulent Maine lobster paired with premium grade scallops and chunks of fresh sweet radish along with a spicy kick pan-fried to perfection! The Steamed Yam Cake with Chinese Sausage topped with fried shallots, spring onions and dried prawns provides a delightful crunch in every bite and a deep satisfying savoury taste which is enjoyed by yam lovers out there.

Introduced as part of Tim Ho Wan’s Chef Specials last September, another favourite is the Golden Custard Bun, enjoy the creamy, fragrant, and sweet flavours of egg yolk custard in every bite. Enjoy it in either fried or steamed. We highly recommend the fried version which is uniquely sinful.

Pan Fried Water Chestnut Cake & Nian Gao

Lastly, what is Lunar New Year without Nian Gao? A must have dish for the celebration is the Pan Fried Water Chestnut Cake & Nian Gao, a symbol of prosperity, the glutinous rice cake, or nian gao has a soft and chewy texture, along with a smoky finish while the shredded water chestnuts from the Pan Fried Water Chestnut Cake brings a crisp and crunch in each bite.

These dishes will be available from 22 January to 28 February 2021 at all Tim Ho Wan restaurants in Singapore.

For the first-time ever, Tim Ho Wan is accepting dine-in reservations at its flagship restaurant located at Marina Bay Sands on a first come, first served basis based on a minimum spend ( Groups of 2 to 5 pax, a minimum spend of $200, 5 to 8 pax, a minimum spend of $300, VIP private room, a minimum spend of $380) basis from now till 28 February 2021.
