Commemorate the nation’s 53rd birthday with three unique dining experiences as Cherry Garden, Dolce Vita and Melt Café at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore offer a medley of amazing delights this August.

National Day Dinner at Cherry Garden
Indulge in the revelry with a sublime Cantonese dinner specially curated by Executive Chinese Chef Cheng Hon Chau on 9 August 2018, and start with the signature Peking Duck alongside quintessential condiments. Showcasing his culinary finesse are moreish dishes such as the Wok-fried Lobster doused in XO sauce; Kampong Chicken Duet cooked with ginger-scallion emulsion and vinegar with spicy sauce; and Stir-fried Wheat Noodles with Kurobuta pork. The seven-course dinner set is priced at S$118 per person.

Dolce Vita Angus Beef Carpaccio

Leading up to the highly anticipated parade, Italian restaurant Dolce Vita, presents delicious treats on 21, 28 July and 4 August 2018. Tantalise palates with a refined Angus Beef Carpaccio accompanied by truffle vinaigrette and black truffle shavings. Choose between a succulent Roasted Wagyu Tenderloin with mushrooms or the delicate Confit Atlantic Cod Fillet sous vide for two hours, and served with creamy watercress puree and charred leeks. Finish off with the Banana e Cioccolato comprising caramelised banana compote and ice cream. The five-course set dinner is priced at S$168 per person.

Discover a melting pot of local cuisines at all-day dining restaurant Melt Café. Savour unlimited selections of fresh seafood and specialties such as the King Prawn Laksa, Kueh Pie Tie Cups and Roasted Suckling Pig stuffed with aromatic six treasure rice. At the alfresco garden, the Durian and Fruit corner featuring Mao Shan Wang durians and a slew of other fresh fruits is a highlight that warrants visits.

Flavours of Singapore is available from 3 to 12 August 2018 and priced at Monday to Thursday S$88; 9 August at S$108 per person Friday, Saturday and Sunday at S$108 per person inclusive of free flow of juices.
