The latest addition at Eat At Seven at Suntec City, home to several specialized Japanese food concepts is Ding Xian Hotpot (Ding Xian), the very first hotpot restaurant in Singapore to offer both spicy Miso and Mala soup in one pot. The homemade Sichuan mala soup follows a top secret recipe and consists of 28 different spices and ingredients.

Apart from the top two popular broths, the are three other soup bases to choose from: the revitalizing Clear Chicken Soup, a classic Tom Yum Soup and their unique rendition of a local classic Herbal Bak Kut Teh Soup. Their soup tends to be slightly sweeter rather the signature peppery taste that most locals are used to due to the different combination of herbs. At the 40-seater restaurant, tuck into a wide range of ingredients that are priced from S$2 onwards and have a pick of over 20 different condiments to either season or spice up the broth with.

The wide range of ingredients include A4 Australian corn-fed wagyu, large snow crab legs, fresh scallops straight from the shell, Iberico Pork Collar, handmade meatballs, prawnballs and fishballs. For the health-conscious eaters, the restaurant has indulgent and delicious collagen balls which come in normal and spicy options. Apart from normal soup ingredients, Ding Xian also offers cooked food as side dishes, such as their Seasonal Mala Grilled Fish and Braised Mala Chicken Feet. Pair the food with their selection of Japanese Yuzu sake or Sapporo beer and finish off the meal with their special Yuzu Muah Chee dessert!
