Seafood Paradise Reopens at VivoCity, Serves Up Impressive Nostalgic And Seafood Dishes

After a two-year hiatus, Paradise Group‘s first humble concept restaurant along Defu Lane in 2002 has now reopened in Vivo City. Seafood Paradise delivers an impressive traditional dishes to impress discerning palates with innovation while reinventing popular classic seafood dishes.
Choose to enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes in their cozy outdoor dining area or indoor dining while appreciating the modern Chinese interior with Chinese art prints and a live fish tank to showcase their live seafoods that is being caught and freshly served to your table.
The menu features innovative creations with a myriad of Singapore-style seafood and Chinese cuisine that made the restaurant popular along with new additions of Hong Kong-style dim sum during lunchtime.
Begin your meal with the Deep-fried Cheese Bacon Roll. This deep fried roll has mild cheddar cheese stuffed inside a mix of squid and prawn paste with glazed homemade sweet BBQ sauce and black sesame seeds sprinkled on top, while keeping the inside tender and succulent.
While the Poached Live Tiger Prawn with Chinese Herb in Superior Stock lacks the herbal flavour, the restaurant makes up for with consistency of cooking the stock with a variety of Chinese herbs, rice wine and hua diao wine and serving it with fresh juicy jumbo prawns. It’s Baked Pork Belly Rib with Honey Pepper Sauce is superb, the succulent pork is marinated for one day with their inhouse recipe and baked to a slightly crispy exterior and coated with their in-house honey pepper sauce.
The Steamed Dragon Tiger Grouper with Preserved Turnip displays the prowess of their dedicated team of chefs in handling delicate dishes while constantly innovating ways to enhance and heighten the taste of traditional Chinese dishes.
Crab-lovers will enjoy Seafood Paradise best-seller and original creation Creamy Butter Crab topped with Coconut Crumbs. This unique dish include the firm and sweet Sri Lankan crab; and sauce made using curry leaves, white pepper, lemongrass and chili padi. Another must try crab dish is the popular Singapore Style Chilli Crab, the restaurant’s own version of Singapore’s iconic chilli crab dish, the Sri Lankan mud crabs are simmered in a mildly sweet, spicy and tangy sauce ; perfect to be enjoyed with their crispy soft mantou.
