Hot! Wine Lust: Singapore’s Annual Wine Extravaganza Returns for Its Fifth Edition

Wine Lust

Wine Lust, Singapore’s most iconic food and wine festival, announces its return from 19 August 2021 to 18 September 2021 with a star-studded line-up of grape adventures island-wide. Presented by Singapore’s leading F&B and hospitality group 1-Group, the month-long event celebrates the best of wine worldwide through dining experiences from bottomless brunches to wine pairing dinners, from sundown picnics to rooftop happy hours, to insightful masterclasses and wine retail pop-ups. With the festival starting just as dine-in resumes, oenophiles can look forward to dining out and discovering over 300 award-winning wines across nine of its dining destinations such as the newly opened 1-Atico, 1-Altitude, Alkaff Mansion, Monti, The Riverhouse and more. Highlights for this year include:

  • Better than retail therapy: wine retail therapy. Look forward to weekend retail pop-ups at The Alkaff Mansion, Botanico and 1-Atico, where connoisseurs and budding collectors alike will find something from old world to new world labels, organic and biodynamic wines from France, Italy, Australia, Spain, Japan, Argentina, South Africa, etc that suit their taste. Tickets ranging from $30 to $58 will include tasting sessions led by industry experts.
  • Bring your favourite Wine Lust dining experiences home with 1-Group’s 1-At-Home delivery service, available island-wide. Every bundle comes with a complimentary bottle of wine.
  • This year’s Wine Lust features an even wider variety of gastronomical wine pairing events inspired by a diverse range of cuisines such as Argentinian Asado, contemporary Australian, modern Chinese, progressive Nikkei, farm-to-table French and elegant Italian.

“We are proud to bring the most important wine festival of the year in a time like this”, says 1-Group’s Director of Dining Development Massimo Aquaro. “Wine Lust is in a class of its own when it comes to hospitality. We have been working hard across borders with all our wine partners to showcase the best of international food and wine at our iconic and heritage destinations.”
