REVIEW: Create Your Own Cocktails/Scents with M Social Hotel Singapore Staycation Package!

As COVID-19 continues to put a damper on the aviation and tourism industry, many hotels in Singapore have refocused their efforts by launching enticing staycation packages. Situated in the tranquil area of Robinson Quay, M Social Hotel Singapore has curated a range of unique staycation packages for guests (namely couples) who are looking for a short getaway or to celebrate a special occasion! To that end, the hotel has come up with their Mix & Stay (S$180++) and Bottled Up Happiness (S$240++) packages to cater in order to satisfy that need!

Both of the packages include a 2D1N stay at their Alcove Cosy room, a homely room that boasts a simple design adorned with concrete walls that creates the impression of a spacious room due to the four metre high ceiling. Other rooms such as their Alcove Terrace room that comes with an outdoor terrace or their iconic two storey Loft Premier room are also available as an upgrade option, subject to availability. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool and a moderately equipped indoor gym, but reservations have to be made in advance due to COVID-19 measures. Both packages come with daily breakfast for two guests per room as well.

The Mix & Stay package comes with an introductory mixology class with the hotel’s resident mixologist, Vladyslav Yesepiv. Hailing all the way from Ukraine, he will educate guests on the basic flavours of liquors and teach how to use different syrups, toppings and bitters in order for guests to create their own bespoke cocktail! Once the tipple soiree is over, guests will be able to bring home their very own cocktail shaker- a souvenir gift as proof of their progress as an amateur bartender! .

Guests who are more oriented towards aromachology or the art of creating their own fragrance can opt for the hotel’s Bottled Up Happiness package! As part of a collaboration with Maison 21G, guests will be treated to a wide range of scents to learn how to incorporate their favourite aromas that reflects their personality and style. Afterwards, guests will be able to take home their very own custom scent in a bottle home as a memento of their stay at M Social Hotel Singapore!

For those who are feeling a wee bit peckish, but do not want to stray far away from the hotel for some quality food can check out their resident Beast & Butterflies restaurant! The restaurant offers up a wide range of mouth-watering culinary delights from the east and the west to their guests. Some of their exemplary delights include their Pumpkin and Mushroom Risotto (S$16++), a classic bowl of our local Singapore Laksa and sweet treats such as their Thai Milk Tea Pudding  and Orh Nee Pudding! Depending on the day that their guests are staying at the hotel, the restaurant has daily special offers ranging from one-for-one main courses on Tuesday to $1 oysters on Friday! Weekends brunch sessions are also available at the restaurant and it comes with free flow of cocktails and wines!
