Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival with three delicious rice dumplings at Cherry Garden in Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.

A spin off from the restaurant’s all-time favourite Five Grain Fried Rice is a rice dumpling rendition (S$18 per piece) perfect for the health conscious. Every fragrant parcel comprises brown, glutinous and black glutinous rice, sorghum and millet. They are wok-fried with ingredients including chicken, chestnuts, mushrooms and oyster sauce before being wrapped in bamboo leaves, ensuring great flavours and textures.

A perennial favourite is the Black Garlic rice dumpling (S$18 per piece) with sea whelk, preserved vegetables, bamboo charcoal powder, chunks of nutritious black garlic and succulent Kurobuta pork.

Traditionalists will enjoy the plump and savoury Golden Pearl rice dumpling (S$28 per piece), featuring a generous filling of pork belly, chestnut, mushrooms, slow-braised baby abalone, mung bean and salted egg yolk.

The three rice dumplings are available at Cherry Garden from 28 May till 7 June 2019.
