Through the use of nourish ingredients and superfoods such as wild rice, burdock roots, maca and black Chinese wolfberries in its delicious dishes, the brand intends to improve the well-being of its diners with each bite of their dishes.

The interior of the restaurant is designed to reflect a garden during the spring or summer seasons as the entire restaurant is covered with rattan and vertical greens that bring about a connection with nature for diners as they chow down on their food. A palette of teak and gold along with marble tabletops and floral walls gives a sophisticated look to the restaurant that makes it a suitable place for family gatherings and business meetings.

Diners should begin from the right to the left as they are meant to sample the three different flavours that varies from light to heavy that are meant to effectively whet one’s appetite for the other courses to come.

The Truffle Breadsticks with Blueberry Yoghurt Sauce ($3.80) is the western alternative for diners who prefer a more carb focused appetiser. Each truffle-infused breadstick was hard yet has a mochi-like texture when bitten into permeates through everything on the palate. It even overwhelms the yoghurt sauce but the sweetness can be felt at the back of the throat once the breadsticks have been digested.

Double-Boiled Cordyceps Flower w Peach Gum in Superior Soup (Moodshot1)

Kale Tofu w Wild Rice (Mood)

The Kale Tofu with Wild Rice ($15.80) is an extremely rich offering, filled with the piquant scent of bamboo while the wild rice is soaked with an umami-packed miso sauce. Truffle Broth Ramen (Mood)

The Truffle Broth Ramen ($14.80) has been hailed as one of the star dishes at Elemen Classic, where the broth has a achieved a creamy consistency that is almost similar to a typical tonkatsu broth. Despite the amazing feat, the broth and dumplings were lacking in terms of flavour, as the truffle permeated through everything it touched and made itself the star of the meal. The dish would have been better if there was a way to let the other ingredients shine as well as improving the flavour and fillings of the dumplings.

Finish the experience on a sweet note with the Purple Rice Porridge with Coconut Ice Cream ($8.80) The sticky sweet dessert had an overall chewy texture that when mixed with the sweet coconut ice cream, provides an extremely refreshing finish to the meal that helps to alleviate the stomach to prevent diners from being bloated.
