Best known for worldwide hits “Lady Marmalade”, “Ghetto Superstar” and “Case of the Ex” which made the Grammy Award winner, Mya, a household name, the superstar is set to belt out her songs for unmissable performances on Saturday and Sunday nights at Amber Lounge during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. Amber Lounge promises two nights of non-stop world-class entertainment. Guests’ thirst for entertainment will be quenched as Mya takes to the stage to kick-off a euphoric weekend of parties, performing Saturday at the Amber Lounge Fashion Show and the Grand Prix After Party.
The US-based artist has sold over 7 million albums around the globe and boasts a double platinum debut album. “Lady Marmalade”, a collaboration with Mya, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot, Pink and Lil Kim, sold over 5.5 million copies, “Ghetto Superstar” earned her a Grammy Award Nomination and “Case of the Ex” was a worldwide hit. This year Mya is celebrating 20 years of success in the music industry as an internationally known and respected singer, songwriter, producer, musician, dancer/choreographer and actress. Her latest album, TKO, was released in April 2018.
The Grammy Award winner’s electrifying Amber Lounge performance will be followed by an impressive lineup of international live acts including John Reid of the Night Crawlers, DJ SG, DJ Ono and DJ Buddha of Bangkok Invaders, DJ Micky all the way from Europe and DJ Jagger.
Amber Lounge Singapore will provide a feast for all the senses as seductive burlesque-style dancers perform to the right, stunning acrobats impress to the left, flair bartenders light up the bar, and drummers, saxophonists and themed acts weave through the crowd all night long.
The weekend of events will mark the 11th Amber Lounge Singapore with new crystal interiors. Black carpet arrivals will be followed by the Fashion Show and After Party. Giant methusalems of Cuvée Carbon, the official Champagne of Formula 1, will feature as centerpieces on the most desired guest tables in the room. Iconic luxury brand CHANEL will also be displaying their stunning Monsieur Haute Horlogerie range to Amber Lounge guests on the night. Their fine watchmaking and technical excellence will be admired and celebrated at the most sought-after F1 party destination.
