Gentlewoman, the Bangkok-born contemporary label that has quietly re-engineered Southeast Asian street style is opening its Singapore flagship store this October.
Founded in 2018 by Raya Wannapinyo, Siripa Rueangwutthisakulchai, and Jitpon Siriwattanamathangkul, Gentlewoman has subverted traditional retail trajectories, mutating from a niche local label into a formidable regional phenomenon with their popular graphic, typographic canvas totes and now spans to a wider collection of casualwear, activewear, swimwear and accessories.
At its core, Gentlewoman celebrates femininity in all its forms, with the belief that personal style should feel functional, expressive and never confined to just one idea of what a woman should look like.
To celebrate the store’s opening, the brand is launching a series of collections from Dormitory Darlings, a soulful collaboration with Thai actress and defining style icon Chompoo Araya. The collection is a poignant love letter to the foundational moments that shape our personal aesthetics. By intertwining the rich tapestry of local Thai culture with effortless silhouettes and nostalgic, girlhood-inspired details, Araya captures the beauty of everyday living.
