Zouk celebrates its 35th anniversary with upgraded dance floors and a fresh vision

Zouk has stepped into a new era with a reopening that pays homage to its history yet looks towards the future. After a multi-million-dollar revamp, the Singapore nightlife institution has relaunched its Mainroom and Phuture with a sharper, more flexible format that can now host up to 3,500 guests across Zouk, Phuture and Capital, making room for everything from club nights and live shows to brand launches and conferences. The update arrives as Zouk marks its 35th anniversary, a fitting milestone for a brand that has helped shape Singapore’s nightlife identity for decades.
The reopening night was built around a “Future Nostalgia” theme, bringing together local music, fashion and visual storytelling in a way that reflected Zouk’s next chapter. Guests were treated to a self-guided discovery of the refreshed spaces before the evening culminated in a live performance by Iman Fandi, who debuted her new single IT IS and followed it with a remixed version of Out Of My Mind created with resident DJ Caden. The night also featured sets by resident DJs Caden and Krisha, while immersive visuals on the upgraded screens underscored the venue’s enhanced production capabilities and its growing role as more than just a club.
What makes the renovation stand out is not its scale but intent. Designed with creative partners Josh Held Design and Superlative, the new Zouk has been built for modularity, with soundproofed spaces that can operate independently or merge into one seamless venue depending on the event. That means improved flow, a larger VIP experience behind the DJ booth, next-generation sound and lighting, and 12-meter LED walls that make the venue better suited to live performances, product showcases, and immersive entertainment. Zouk Group will also launch its newest concept, Rally Clubhouse, a social space targeted at the younger generation where creative programming and community-led experiences come to life.
