If we could channel our own spirit animals, the scent will definitely play a huge role in capturing your essence and elevating your aura. With every spritz, each scent grows and develops during the day, just like how your spirit animal guides you through life.
German luxury fashion house MCM ventures into the fragrance realm with a collection of six fragrances inspired by their iconic leather animals that reflects the spirit of the characters. In true MCM style, the fragrance bottles are bold and uniquely striking, from the bottle packaging down to the distinct scent profiles that are characterized by six animals. Each fragrance is designed by a different perfumer from dsm-firmenich, and is designed to awaken your inner instincts on a playful self-discovery journey.
The Daring Dragon represents the Power and Mystery to Enchant, with an enticing blend of yuzu, almond flower, vanilla and sandalwood that stands out immediately. The Mighty Bear that exudes Strength and Resilience is a familiar amber woody floral of bergamot and patchouli, which also pairs well with the Charming Pup, another woody bergamot scent but with rose and tonka for a shimmery charm that blooms in sophistication.
On the flowery side, the Jolly Rabbit is an earthy jasmine, lemon, orange and vetiver scent that celebrates all the little and big things in life, while the Darling Doxie is a nostalgic spicy scent of pink pepper and sandalwood that is all about staying true to yourself and those around you. Another standout is the Zen Elephant, with grapefruit, magnolia and cardamom in harmonious blend.
It doesn’t help that the bottles, each topped by the spirit animal in the signature MCM gold is so lovingly cute and luxurious, making for a nice addition to any countertop. All the scents are unisex, so you can share it with your partner or even switch it up by layering it with other scents to express yourself.
The MCM Collection retails for S$198 for 100ml at leading department stores, including MCM Takashimaya S.C., TANGS at Tang Plaza, Isetan Scotts, and BHG Bugis.
