You can now shop at DFS when you leave or arrive in Singapore through Singapore Cruise Centre’s two terminals. Situated at Tanah Merah and Harbourfront, the two cruise terminals link Singapore to neighboring countries like Indonesia and Malaysia by way of ferry and cruise ships.

Travelers will be able to get their hands on a wide range of luxurious goods that can also be found in the other DFS branches in Changi Airport and in Orchard. Alcohol, tobacco, cosmetics and fashion items and last minute travel accessories can be found at all DFS stores, and at a much cheaper price since there is no GST.

The DFS Harbourfront departure store is also home to an exclusive Whiskey and Cocktail Bar. Before embarking on their vessels, travelers can sample and indulge themselves in the various spirits, liquors and wine. Cocktails by the DFS in-house bartenders can be whipped up on the spot as well.

The Whiskey Bar, created in collaboration with The Whiskey House at DFS’ Terminal 2 Duplex at Changi Airport, will lead visitors on guided tastings so as to help them make a better purchase.

The Singapore Cruise Centre is a gateway to many short getaways, with the Indonesian Riau Islands being a popular destination among Singaporeans and visitors alike.

Batam, just about 45 minutes ferry ride away, is full of hidden corners just waiting to be explored. Besides the beaches and fresh seafood, you can also go café hopping and visit the sea gypsies, who live on the water. For those who prefer a little more natural exploration, you can also go trekking in the various little islands, or visit the mangroves.
