Hot! Loewe Men’s Fall Winter 2019 RTW Collective

This Fall sees Creative Director Jonathan Anderson uniting incongruous ideals of masculinity, synthesizing sartorial tradition and sportswear while playing with proportions, masculine connotations and materials to challenge traditional menswear. The collection shines a spotlight on the abstract shapes, seeing past the familiar.

Tuxedo

Tailoring
The collection introduced of a wide variety of tuxedo, with added wool and silk details. Staying true to the DNA of LOEWE, the Spanish fashion house incorporates an elevated twist to the tuxedos with asymmetry and contrasting lapels. The clean-cut silhouette of the tuxedoes exude an air of elegance while the colourful options provide for a professional yet savoir-faire touch.

Earthy tones and warm coats are staples for the Fall, and LOEWE infused its own spin to the Fall Winter 2019 Men’s collection with fox fur trimmings details added to timeless staples. Drawing inspiration from nature, shades of military and khaki green, as well as houndstooth prints reminiscent of the English countryside, permeates the ready-to-wear line. Shearling remains the star of show, being prominent elements in the collection with silhouettes that echoes the Women’s collection.

Patchwork

Patchwork
A running theme throughout the collection includes the use of sprightly liberty prints that radiate a warmer ambience that breaks the uniformity of the neutral tones associated with Fall. Available in different silhouettes, the pieces can be styled casual with classic jeans, or dressed up with a pair of smart slacks. Another standout look includes the scarf coat that is crafted by panels of multi-coloured fringed cashmere scarves, a testament of the fashion house’s expertise in workmanship and the manipulation of different materials.
