From now until 31st May 2019, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant brings diners “A Tale of Twin Baby Lobsters” at their PARKROYAL at Beach Road outlet and at the TOP of the UOB plaza outlet at Raffles Place. With an unlimited supply of Australian baby lobsters that comes with 40 other Sichuan and other Cantonese dishes, the menu and signature lobster dishes at both outlets will differ to offer diners a greater variety of dishes.

For the signature lobster dishes, TOP of UOB plaza will have an oriental rendition of a classic lobster roll with a spicy Mala twist. The Baby Lobster in Preserved Wild Chilli served with Mantou features a footlong deep-fried crispy handmade mantou that is filled to the brim with five baby lobsters. The scent of the lobster immediately hits the nose even before the bun touches the lips. Upon the first bite, the spicy essence of the mala sauce envelopes the sweetness of the lobster, effectively marrying the two different ingredients in eternal bliss in the palate. The dish could have been further enhanced if there was a bowl of chilli crab sauce on the side to dip the remaining mantou in the sauce.

The PARKROYAL on Beach Road will serve up Crispy Noodles with Baby Lobster, only cooked to order by the restaurant’s Executive Sichuan Chef Zeng Feng. The broth is cooked for hours with lobster shells and spring onions before being spooned onto a bed of noodles and topped off with a baby lobster. This results in mildly soft-crispy noodles that are well seasoned that can be adjusted according to the customer’s favourite texture. The succulent lobster itself is chocked full of flavour and the broth simply adds on to that flavour silky-salty flavour.

Apart from the one-time orders, the unlimited lobster buffet comes in nine different styles across the two outlets, including Stir-fried Baby Lobster with Fragrant Sichuan Spicy Sauce, Sauteed Baby Lobster with Dried Chilli and Baked Baby Lobster with XO Sauce.

Note: The portion of the lobsters vary on party size, but the portion will still be generous- customers can always order more if the portions are insufficient.
