This September, Negroni Week returns for its 12th edition from the 16th to the 22nd, uniting the global bartending community under Campari, the iconic Italian aperitif. With bars and restaurants in over 160 countries participating, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, this week-long celebration will spotlight the intrinsic link between Campari and the beloved Negroni cocktail, all while raising funds for global charity partner Slow Food.

The city’s bartenders, renowned for their dedication to craft and innovation, are set to showcase their talents through a series of events and creative collaborations. This year, Campari Group has partnered with China’s Wuliangye Group to introduce the “Wugroni” across more than 20 bars in Singapore, featuring both classic and limited-time-only Negroni creations. Participating venues include Plume, MO Bar, 28 Hongkong Street, Enclave, and newcomers like SUSHISamba, Sospiri, and Parliament Bar. Hong Kong and Macau will feature seven events across popular venues throughout the city, where cocktail and spirit enthusiasts are invited to indulge in the iconic Italian aperitif while supporting a good cause with the theme “No Negroni without Campari” highlighting the essential ingredients that make the Negroni iconic. Kicking off Negroni Week on September 16th, the campaign will be preceded by the Campari Red Hands Asia competition, where top Asian bartenders will battle it out in a creative challenge incorporating the five senses into their cocktails. The winning team will advance to the grand finale in Milan, competing for the title of Campari Red Hands Asia Champion. Finalists from Atlas Bar, Basilico Bar, Smoke & Mirrors, Sugarhall, and The Backdrop will compete earlier in the day, with the winner announced during the evening’s festivities. Guests can enjoy exclusive Negroni variations, themed photo opportunities, and the chance to network with industry leaders.

While over 100 participating venues in Hong Kong and Macau will present their exclusive Negroni Week Menus which promises a vibrant experience for all cocktail lovers. Highlights include a collaboration between Bar Leone, recently crowned the #1 bar on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, and Mr Porter for a limited edition Negroni menu. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel will also feature 10 unique Negroni creations inspired by its outlets across Asia. Further, partners like Avoca, Mixing Room, Maggie Choo, Dragon Fly, and Library will present their own Negroni-inspired offerings, making this year’s celebration truly unforgettable.

Embracing the grassroots spirit of Negroni Week, Campari Group will host a series of weekly guest shifts, offering a creative exchange among the bar scene.

  • September 17: Neon Pigeon x L’Antiquario

    International guest shift featuring Alex Frezza, founder and owner of L’Antiquario (#44 on World’s 50 Best 2023). Expect a one-night-only showcase of Napoli-inspired cocktails at Neon Pigeon.

  • September 18: Swing Party with Wugroni at Enclave Bar

    Join the fun at Enclave Bar with live swing dancing and complimentary shaves provided by Hounds of The Baskerville, all in support of Men’s Mental Health and Prostate Cancer awareness. The event will feature Campari cocktails, including the Wugroni, set against a backdrop of 20s Jazz music.

  • September 20: Guest Shift at 67 Pall Mall x Lady Trieu Featuring Bystrik Uko

    At members-only wine club 67 Pall Mall, Campari Group Ambassador Bystrik Uko will present a special range of cocktails blending small-batch Vietnamese Gin with Campari.

Hong Kong

  • September 16: Negroni Week Opening Party @ Honky Tonks Tavern

    Kick off Negroni Week in style at the Negroni Week Opening Party at Honky Tonks Tavern with a ‘Movie-Inspired’ menu curated by More Good, featuring playful dishes like ‘Are you gonna eat your tots?’ tater tots, “Utah Give Me 2!” Meatball Sub, Big Kahuna Burger, and A Goofy Movie Slice.

  • September 18: Campari Red Corner x Carrots guest shift @ Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social, Cordis, Hong Kong

    Modern bar, Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social of Cordis, Hong Kong is hosting international guest bartender Anthony Luis from the acclaimed Carrots bar in Jakarta, offering a menu of Negroni cocktails inspired by the silver screen.

  • September 20: Negroni Week Tales, Sophia Loren’s 90th Birthday @ Sophia Loren

    Rooftop Bar at Sophia Loren will host an epic party featuring guest shifts by the top three finalists of the prestigious Campari Red Hands competition.
