Hot! Orchard Hotel Supports Earth Hour Movement with Exclusive $0.60 Deals

Expanded Buffet at Orchard Cafe

In the commitment to protect our planet Earth and heighten awareness about environmental consciousness, Orchard Hotel Singapore has pledged its participation in Earth Hour 2017 on Saturday 25 March 2017 from 8.30pm.

As with past years, the hotel will be switching off non-essential lights, water features and turning up air-condition temperatures in an effort to advocate real, positive impact on our environment. All hotel guests and staff are also strongly encouraged to “Switch Off, Turn Up” in the guest rooms and offices as a mark of support for this good cause.

At Orchard Hotel Singapore, we understand that to achieve environmental sustainability and to make a difference, ongoing improvements must be made beyond the Earth Hour. Some measures we had undertaken include using energy saving/LED lighting in order to conserve energy, encouraging responsible actions from our staff by switching off the air conditioning and lights in the offices during lunch time and after office hours, setting the temperature and lighting in the public areas to appropriate levels wherever possible,” states Richard Ong, General Manager Orchard Hotel Singapore.
