Penfolds Launches Out-of-this-world Pop ups in Great World City and T Galleria

 Penfolds has set up a series of immersive pop-ups across town; at the atrium of Great World and T Galleria by DFS. Guests will be able to take part in unique and exclusive wine tasting sessions and be taken through a flight of Penfolds’ ‘House Style’ wines. In keeping with the brand’s mantra of always striving to do things differently and venture beyond the ordinary, each Penfolds pop-up will offer its own distinct set of experiences.

The pop-up at Great World City from 6th June to 4th July will Introduce Penfolds: Terminal 1844: a pop-up that welcomes all those who dare to venture beyond their comfort zones and embark on a journey to infinity and beyond. Penfolds:Terminal 1844 will host a series of private wine tasting sessions where visitors can enjoy a flight of Penfolds’ ‘House Style’ wines and discover Penfolds limited-edition space themed gift boxes.

Each limited-edition thematic gift box pays homage to the pioneering astronauts and is an artistic expression of space, planets, and galaxies that signify Penfold’s ongoing thirst to venture beyond, rather than accepting the status quo. Globally, Penfolds has also commissioned Australian illustrator Jason Solo to bring the space thematic to life by interpreting the Venture Beyond concept in a playful, luxurious way – using his refined style full of intricate detail, paired with striking colour palettes and dynamism — to curate the artwork for Penfolds Max’s thematic gift boxes.

Guests at T Galleria by DFS will be guided through five of Penfolds’ House Style wines, including the Penfolds Max’s Rosé 2021, by a professional wine sommelier. The Penfolds Max’s Rosé 2021 is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert 1948 – 1975, a legend in Penfolds history. Max’s constant pursuit of excellence paved the way for those that followed, and allowed the status and heritage of Penfolds to grow. The wine has all the hallmarks of a well-balanced, bright young Rosé crafted with day drinking in mind. A bright young rosé, crisp and textural with a restrained palate led by red summer fruits and rhubarb, the Penfolds Max’s Rosé 2021 will be available for the first time in Singapore at the pop-up at T Galleria by DFS, before its debut across Singapore later this year.
