Rumah Rasa Launches it’s first kids-friendly Sunday brunch buffet with free-flow Ben & Jerry’s!

After ending 2018 with its debatable Christmas Blue Bird Turkey, Rumah Rasa is looking to make a comeback in 2019 by launching its new delectable Sunday brunch spread with a new highlight- bottomless scoops of BJ’s (Ben & Jerry’s) ice cream!
The buffet line offers up a decent range of Indonesian appetizers and various other piping hot dishes. Indulge in a chunky Indonesian version of Lemak Ratatouille that is sure to go well with any of the noodle or rice-based dishes on the buffet. Look out for the Ikan bakar salmon fillet with sambal matah and other protein dishes to go along with the ratatouille, just because it’s a Sunday, it doesn’t mean that your food intake has to be solely based on carbohydrates!
Outside, there will be a chef at the live BBQ station will be cooking up beef sausages, Indonesian herbs-marinated beef, chicken kemanggi, tiger prawns, grilled snow crabs and a variety of vegetables on the side. There will also be a carving station of rendang-marinated sirloin beef served with mini mantous- although they aren’t the familiar crispy brown ones that most of us are used to seeing. Obviously no brunch is complete without eggs, the chef at the egg station stands ready to fulfill all your eggcellent requests- omelette, scrambled or sunny side up!
Finish your brunch session with your family or friends on a sweet note with an unlimited supply of BJ’s ice cream with freshly-made waffles made to order! With six different flavours to choose from and a wide variety of toppings (Yes there’s whipped cream) to finish that dessert off, you’ll leave the restaurant on a happy note along with a sugar high!
There is also a kids’ corner set up with activities so that you can enjoy the buffet spread while leaving your little ones to doodle and play with toys or other children! They will also be served with their own kids buffet consisting of cupcakes, mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches etc. Who says you can’t make your brunch session a fun family affair?
Kids below 6 years old dine for free and The Sunday brunch is available on every Sunday except on Public Holidays from 12pm to 3pm.
Rumah Rasah Sunday Brunch is priced at: $48++ for adult and kids from 6 to 12 years old at $28++. (Kids below 6 dine for free.) Parking in the hotel is complimentary, subject to lots’ availability.
