Ube Cream Liqueur, the acclaimed creation from Destileria Barako, makes its grand debut in Singapore! This multi-award-winning liqueur, distributed by JD Sip promises to captivate the Lion City with its distinctive and delightful flavor. Made from the native ultra-violet yam, Ube Cream Liqueur embodies the festive spirit of the Philippines, offering a unique and flavorful fiesta in every sip.

Ube, the beloved ultra-violet yam, has been a staple in Filipino cuisine for generations, cherished even during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic a few years ago. This ingredient has since been transformed into one of the Philippines’ best-selling cream liqueurs. Ube Cream Liqueur is now ready to charm Singapore with its rich, creamy goodness and become a cultural icon just as a certain sweet-milk-based liquor has gained popularity here in Singapore.

The liqueur not only stands out for its delicious flavor but also for its commitment to sustainability. Made using sugarcane vodka from Negros, coconut husk from Mindanao, and ube sourced from across the Philippine islands, the liqueur employs a zero-waste process. This sustainable approach ensures that every bottle supports local farmers and protects the environment.

To celebrate its Singapore launch, JD Sip has also collaborated with The Homme Baker to create a limited-edition ube-flavored cake, The Ube Cream Sweet Potato Roll (S$8.50). This delectable treat combines the creamy sweet richness of Ube Cream Liqueur with the airy softness of chiffon cake, showcasing the liqueur’s versatility and bringing a delicious taste of Filipino tradition to Singapore’s culinary scene.

*The limited-edition ube-flavoured roll is only available from 1 August to 31 October 2024.
