Cheese Masterclass with Cheese Master Gérard Poulard at Ginett

France’s official Cheese Ambassador to the world, Gérard Poulard is set to present a carefully curated collection of Fromages de France, including a selection of over 40 different variations of French artisan cheese, all hand-made from the country’s best boutique producers at Ginett Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Behind the cheeseboard, Gérard Poulard impresses and inspires, speaking of the unique flavours, textures and cheese-making techniques found across France. While guests will have the opportunity to savor their most-loved cheese styles, Gerard also encourages the exploration of lesser known varieties, helping all to find their perfect cheese-match in a culinary experience like no other.

Visit Ginett and savour a range of washed rind cheeses, many of which are available here for the first time. From Epoisses Berthaut, a strong, musky cheese washed with Burgundy Pomance that melts in the mouth to Delice de Pommard, a rare and delicious triple goat cheese with a piquant and gamy finish, cheese enthusiasts can look forward to classic French options that will tickle their palate.

For adventurous taste-seekers, the Brillat Savarin with Black Truffles – triple cream Brie with a creative twist, is luscious, creamy and has deep earthy flavours. The Plaisir au Chablis, washed once a week with the elegant Chablis wine featuring a crisp and nutty aftertaste, will also be available at Ginett throughout March.

Ginett’s 1-Meter Cheese Board ($50++) and classic G-Board ($21++) are also available for guests who are keen to try out a selection of 5 cheeses from the entire range.

Cheese Masterclass at Ginett
Gérard will be hosting two one-hour masterclasses in Singapore, held on 9 and 10 March, at 7pm and 2pm respectively. The class will feature 5 types of cheese paired with unique wine and spirits.

As part of his Asia tour, Gérard will also be hosting masterclasses at Scarlett Bangkok from 2 to 6 March and at Ginett Singapore from 8 to 11 March before flying off to Scarlett Hong Kong from 13 to 15 March. He will be using his incredible depth of knowledge to select the perfect cheese for each guest based on their preference.
